If you currently have a local mail server and require ChunkyChips to handle the delivery of the e-mail to your server, SMTP Delivery is for you. You can benefit from our multiple mail server farm where you can make use of our backup mail routes. This improves redundancy and allows for piece of mind that your email will always be delivered.
Content Filtering and Virus Removal
ChunkyChips use state of the art Spam & Virus removal software to compete in the constant battle to stop unwanted e-mail reaching your local mail server. Your e-mail is received by our core mail server farm, then passed thought to our filter servers that extract any viruses and delete them. If the e-mail is detected as spam we can either automatically dispose of the message or send them to an e-mail address you designate. Your e-mail is then forwarded on to your local mail server. See diagram below.
Rely on us
If it occurs that your local mail server goes down and is no longer accepting your e-mail, ChunkyChips will queue your e-mail for up to 5 days so you will not lose your e-mail as we know how important e-mail is to your business. This gives you plenty of time to get your local mail server up and running.
